The blanket's been taken off!

 We got up this morning to find men dismantling the roof and taking the plastic cover off. Our first thoughts were that this was a daring theft but after discussions with the project manager found out that it was planned! A certain person is now very pleased with herself but refused to climb up onto the roof for a photo.

 This is the view across the roof of the downstairs. It's amazing how it now looks more in proportion.

 View from the top of the garden looking down over the skylight. The room at the end is the master bedroom which has quite a view across the fields behind the property (see below).

 This is the roof of the downstairs. We are going to put decking on it together with railings and there is a door out onto it from the upstairs corridor. it should be a great place to have a barbecue.

Sorry for the delay but the blanket is still on!

 The blanket covering the upstairs is still on so it has been difficult taking any photos. The wood cladding is now being fixed to the outside.

 This is the view of the kitchen and dining area. The plasterboard has now been fitted ready for the plastering.  Not sure where the pink plasterboard came from?

 This is the view of the skylight from the lounge. The wall is where the TV will go and we are currently discussing size!

 We now have temporary treads on the stairs. This is the view of the front door from the hallway.

 These are the windows in the guest bedroom.

 The ground source heat pump has been fitted in the plant room. Hopefully there is an instruction manual :-(

 Roof terrace should be amazing.
